 PSS's Position Statement on the Kanjuruhan Tragedy: Support TGIPF's Work and Grant Government Authority

More than a week has passed since the Kanjuruhan tragedy. After the rioting that followed the match between Arema and Persebaya at the Kanjuruhan Stadium on Saturday, January 10, 2022, 131 individuals lost their lives.

PSS Sleman sends its sympathies to each and every one of the Kanjuruhan tragedy's victims. The Laskar Sembada club aspires to provide all the grieving families the courage and fortitude they need to endure this catastrophe.

The PSS Sleman club also believed that the high use of tear gas and many mistakes made in controlling the ensuing pandemonium contributed to the tragedy at Kanjuruhan.
