The Suzuki Saluto 125, which has been sold in Taiwan, would appear to be a good contender for the Honda Scoopy, Yamaha Fazzio, and Benelli Panarea if it were to reach Indonesia.

It is hardly unexpected that the Saluto looks more upscale than its rivals given that it was created by European designers.

The Saluto 125 could still be sold, according to Teuku Agha, head of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales' (2W Sales & Marketing Department).

Agha stated on the sidelines of the IMOS 2022 exhibition on Tuesday, February 11, 2022, "We are still in the process, and especially with the current conditions, the currency moves up and down, it's not apparent, maybe the best answer will be later."

Agha will not say for sure when the Saluto 125 would go on sale in Indonesia. Suzuki, however, is said to need to make tweaks first before bringing in Saluto after looking at the specifications.

According to the specifications, the Saluto 125's 124 cc engine has a bore and stroke of 52.5 mm and 57.4 mm. It generates 10 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm and 9.26 horsepower at 7,000 rpm.

The front and rear tires are mounted on 10-inch rims. The fuel tank can hold 5.5 liters of petrol. Suzuki asserts that fuel economy is 62.21 kilometers per liter.

A remote safety key, a connector for charging the USB 5V 2A model, an LCD panel meter, full LED illumination, and a reasonable trunk under the seat are among the features that are offered.
