One of Indonesia's Most Beautiful Mountains
On the West Nusa Tenggara island of Lombok, there is a mountain called Mount Rinjani. The mountain, which is the second-highest volcano in Indonesia and is 3,726 meters above sea level, is a favorite among Indonesian climbers due to its breathtaking surroundings. It is situated in latitudes 8o25' north and 116o28' east. [2] This peak is a part of the Mount Rinjani National Park, which has an approximate area of 41,330 ha and will soon have a projected extension to the west and east that would extend it to 76,000 ha.
East Lombok, Central Lombok, and North Lombok are the three districts that make up this mountain's administrative region.
